My loan modification Week 5 – I hope Great Benefit Life isn’t handling the paperwork!

We’re now into Week 5 of my loan modification and nothing so far this week. The documentation they requested was packaged up and resent and refaxed.
So I guess we wait and see what else they “don’t have”.
My son and I were discussing the loan modification process and he mentioned it sounded a lot like the Rainmaker.
The Rainmaker is a novel by John Grisham and later was made into a movie starring Matt Damon. In the book a novice attorney, Rudy Baylor (Damon)  takes on Great Benefit Life who has denied a medical insurance claim for one of their policy holders. Read the rest of this entry »
