CA first time home buyer tax credit

If you’re a first time home buyer in Temecula, Murrieta or other portions of Riverside  and San Diego County or unless you’ve taken up residence in a cave, you know the federal first time home buyer tax credit expired on April 30 and that the State of California’s first time home buyer tax credit started on May 1.

There are two tax credits available from the State of California, one for new home purchasers and the other for first time homebuyers. Unlike the federal first time home buyer tax credit, funds for the state credit are limited to the first $100 million. (more…)
